The 2025–26 school year marked Carolina Friends School’s final season in the Central Carolina Conference, which had dwindled to just three member schools. Next year, Carolina Friends will join the Mid-Carolina Conference alongside The Burlington School, Sandhills Classical Christian, New Garden Friends, Cape Fear Academy, Crossroads Christian, and Lee Christian.
The move brings greater scheduling stability and stronger competition—an exciting opportunity for our teams as they prepare for conference and state playoff competition. Regular matchups against high-level opponents promise to elevate the experience for student-athletes across all sports.
