The Opportunity
Carolina Friends School is seeking piano and violin instructors to join our cohort of on-campus, extracurricular music teachers this academic year. Lessons occur on the CFS Main Campus after school, starting as early as 3:05 pm and running as late as 6:30 pm. We have some flexibility about which afternoon(s) to schedule lessons. Instructors work mostly with elementary and middle schoolers from both in and outside of Carolina Friends, but we encourage learners across all ages and stages (including adults) to take advantage of our music program.
The Extended Learning staff organizes scheduling, billing, and family communication so instructors can focus on their work with their students. Interested candidates can learn more about the program at www.cfsnc.org/MusicLessons.
How to Apply
Interested candidates should submit the following--when possible in one complete PDF file--to JobOpenings@cfsnc.org with Piano Instructor or Violin Instructor in the subject line:
- Cover Letter
- Resume
- Names and contact information for three references
Review of resumes is ongoing and will continue until the position is filled, with a flexible start date as soon as possible. CFS reserves the right to close the recruitment at any time.
