Local Quaker Meetings

While Carolina Friends School is a secular independent school, we were founded by members of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) in Chapel Hill and Durham, and the School's Board of Trustees include members from the Chapel Hill and Durham Friends Meetings.

Our first school locations were on Meeting property, and our Durham and Chapel Hill Early School campuses continue to be adjacent to the Meeting Houses. We continue to hold these Meetings in our larger learning community.
