Sonya Linton has been a member of the North Carolina bar since 2007, practicing in Trust and Estates and Civil Litigation during that period. Sonya grew up with the law, having spent many childhood weekends and summers in her father's law firm. This inspiration was the catalyst for her journey into the practice of law, starting with her undergraduate work at St. John's College where she received a double major in Philosophy and History of Math and Science in 2000. She then attended Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City, graduating in 2007. After graduation, she settled in Durham and has never looked back.
