Thank you for your interest in meeting with our students. College visits are generally scheduled during our Fall term and are open to juniors and seniors. Visits are scheduled for 40 minutes, and as much as possible, will include a chance to speak with the College Counselor about CFS, your institution, and other topics of mutual interest. Because of the size of our campus, please allow 5-10 minutes prior to the start of your visit to drive to the Upper School, park, arrive at the College Counseling Office, and get oriented. We also recommend walk-friendly footwear, especially in inclement weather. You will receive detailed directions (which are also noted below) with your visit confirmation.

It is relatively easy to get directions to the main driveway of CFS campus using the address "4809 Friends School Road, Durham NC” on Mapquest or Google Maps. The CFS website also has directions to campus. For additional help, please email or call the College Counselor as noted above.

Once you turn in the driveway for the CFS campus, use the following directions to find the College Counseling Office in the Upper School:

• Drive straight in past the large information board (on your right)
• Although the driveway forks, basically drive ahead.
• Continue through the parking lot to the stop sign
• Go straight through the stop sign, over the speed bump, and down the hill. If you pass the Shop OR drive back up a hill (towards the Early School and Tennis Courts), you have gone too far.
• Park in any space that is available on the sides of the driveway. If no space is available, follow the driveway to the right (per the signs for the Upper School and Meeting Hall) and park along the left side near the trees.
• Once parked, walk along the driveway to the right (per the signs for the Upper School and Meeting Hall)
• The log building in front of you is the Upper School. Come around toward the left (or back) of the building (up the small hill). Follow the ramp towards the double green doors. You will pass the College Counseling Office windows; enter the doors and turn right for the office.
