A group of families can email the information below to ExtendedLearning@cfsnc.org. We hope to be able to serve everyone, but our facilities and staffing capabilities may preclude us from being able to offer Personalized Camps to all interested groups. So, we suggest reaching out as soon as you’re able. When emailing, please include all the parents/guardians on the communication so we have contact information for the entire group.
Information to provide:

Each child’s name and age. Some variety in age range is welcomed if the families feel the children will be comfortable with one another and the older children will enjoy activities that are developmentally appropriate for all participants. If a family doesn’t already have a CampInTouch account with us, we’ll be glad to reach out for additional information and create one for them.

The week(s) desired. A bubble is welcome to craft a Personalized Camp for as little as one or as many as eight or nine weeks. Summer Programs 2023 will run from June 19 to August 11.

Any preferences in class topics. Both specific and vague ideas are welcomed! Traditionally, we offer programs in the following categories: Visual Arts/Crafting, Performing Arts, Culinary Creations, Leadership/Personal Development, Learning Explorations, Maker Discoveries, Nature/Outdoors, Sports Fun, and Tech Wizardry. The more information you can give us, the better we can structure the right experience.

Any preferences in teachers. We can’t guarantee any specific instructor, but if your students have some favorite teachers from past years we’d be glad to reach out to them!
Once we have this information, we’ll begin crafting your very own Personalized Camp.
By the way, we give each group an animal name in alphabetical order by confirmation date, so we've welcomed Aardvarks, Badgers, Cheetahs, Dingoes, Eagles, Flamingos, Geckos, Hedgehogs, Iguanas, and Jaguars (and some Squirrels too)!
