When Carolina Friends School is closed for staff work days, families can take advantage of our Camp CFS care option for Early, Lower, and Middle School students.
Your children can pursue individual activities (reading, for example) and enjoy facilitated group activities. We have an arts and crafts station; a rated-G film after lunch; LEGO play; board games; puzzles; and group games (inside and, weather permitting, outside).
Camp CFS is staffed by Extended Day teachers, other adult educators, and Upper School student assistants. Participants are based in the Gym, and, weather permitting, the athletic fields and other outdoor spaces.
The same masking and other COVID-19 safety protocols apply to Camp CFS as during a regular school day.

We don't have capacity limits on enrollment, but appreciate your registering in a timely fashion so we can ensure adequate staffing, snacks, and other materials.
What to Bring
We ask that families pack a lunch for each child. We’ll provide morning and afternoon snacks. Snacks include animal crackers, apples, carrots, clementines, cheese, Goldfish, grapes and the like, but no nut products.
