Visit Schedule
The school day begins at 8:30 am and ends at 3:15 pm. We have an 8 period schedule – some classes meet 4 times a week for 45 minutes, others meet twice a week for 75 minutes.
We cannot schedule visits during the following times:

Homeroom – 8:30 – 8:45 am every day

All Upper School Meeting for Business – Mondays from 1:45 – 2:15
-
All Upper School Silent Meeting – Wednesdays from 1:45 – 2:15
Additionally, we try to limit visits on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10:30 and 12:00 and again between 1:45 and 3:00.
Directions to the Counseling Office
It is relatively easy to get directions to the main driveway of CFS campus using the address “4809 Friends School Road, Durham NC” on mapquest or google maps. For more specific directions than these sites allow, please email or call Elise for additional information. Once you turn in the driveway for school, use the following directions to find the Counseling Office in the Upper School:

Drive straight in past the large information board

The driveway immediately forks, stay right and then forks again, stay left (try to stay as straight as possible)

Pass the small parking lots to the stop sign
-
Go straight through the stop sign and down the hill
-
Park in any space that is available on the sides of the driveway
-
On foot, follow the driveway and take the turn to the right
-
The log cabin building in front of you in the Upper School
-
If you come around toward the left of the building (up the small hill) and up the ramp there is an entrance
-
Elise’s office is the last door down the hall on the right
