Upper
School Liaisons volunteer through Parent Meeting and
work with the Head Teacher and other US staff to
determine how parents can help out in the Upper
School. Liaisons
contribute articles to Update regarding Upper
School topics, provide refreshments for Upper School
parent events, and solicit parent feedback on areas of
interest for evening forums held throughout the year.
Liaisons work with the Head Teacher to select topics
for these evening meetings and publicize the events.
Past topics, presented by US staff or guest speakers
have included Talking with Teens about Difficult Issues;
Meet the College Counselor; and Academics:
Foreign Language, Science, and Math Curriculum.
Liaisons look for ways to support US staff. They also
act as the link to the Parent Meeting Steering
Committee.
