In fact, grandparents were at the heart of starting CFS. It was a grandparent who secured a $6,000 gift to launch the first CFS class back in 1964.
For five decades, grandparents have continued to be central to the CFS family. Since those first days grandparents have volunteered in the classrooms, served on the CFS Board of Trustees, taught courses, attended Grandparents and Family Friends Day, come to plays and concerts, and made generous gifts to support the school.
Another special day at CFS is graduation. A CFS graduation is unique. At the core, it is a Quaker Meeting for Worship during which anyone who feels led to speak into the silence may address those in attendance. Read more....
