- Erin McGovern
- Cam Eubanks
- Liz Liptzin Dubose
- Jason Parker
- Tim Wells
- Elizabeth Taylor (alumni parent)
- Jim Henderson
Saturday,
June 12
CFS alumni
gathering from 5-8 pm at
Alivia's Bistro in downtown Durham. More than 75 alumni from the '70s through the
'00s as well as current and former staff gathered to reconnect. The committee offered a generous spread of food, which guests enjoyed as they visited, hugged, and caught up with one another.
Not even a downpour at 5:00 could dampen the spirits
of those attending.

A host of current and former staff members greeted alumni,
including former principal Don Wells; current principal Mike Hanas; Assistant Principal John
McGovern; former staffers Diana M. Levy and Norm Budnitz; and current staffers Bryce Little, Willy Rotella, Annie Dwyer, and others.

Henry's Pig Pickin'
After the party at Alivia's wound down, a number of
alumni went to staff members Henry and Joan Walker's home for their annual Pig Pickin'. Food, music, and dodging the rain were the featured events of the gathering.
Sunday, June 13
Breakfast with Friends Before Graduation from
9 to 10:15 am. A delicious spread of biscuits, pastries, fruit, and beverages was laid out in the shade of the trees in front of the Center Building. A committee led by alumni parent Elizabeth Taylor organized the whole thing. Alumni, alumni parents, alumni teachers, and current teachers mingled and chatted as performers played classical music in the background.
Graduation from
10:30 am to noon in the CFS gym. Thirty-seven members of the class of 2010 received their diplomas during the Meeting for Worship with Attention to Graduation. More than 450 parents, family, staff, alumni parents, and friends attended. A larger than usual contingent of alumni was there, several of whom spoke into the silence.
