Libraries

The only thing that you absolutely have to know is the location of the library. Albert Einstein

Carolina Friends School has two libraries on campus. The Lower School Library serves students in first through fourth grades. The Middle/Upper School Library serves students in fifth through twelfth grades.

Our Library Mission

CFS Libraries serve as spaces for the community to engage in thoughtful study, creative endeavors, individual and group activities, collaborative work, and independent reading. CFS Librarians aid in this work by teaching information literacy and digital citizenship skills, promoting lifelong reading and learning, and serving as resources for a variety of needs. In keeping with our Quaker philosophy, the libraries support diversity in our collections and practices as well as in the spaces we provide for library users.

CFS Libraries support the mission of Carolina Friends School.
