Fostering Leadership for Change

Join Shan Cretin, the General Secretary of the American Friends Service Committee, and hear how the work of the AFSC promotes change.

 

Valentines Social

Saturday, February 15 from 7:00-10:30 pm, the old Murphey School

Need a night out? Come connect with new and longtime friends, and enjoy delicious appetizers, beer/wine, desserts.  We are thrilled to be able to hear live music from Maddog Blues Band (Jamie Hysjulien, David Stewart, David Langham, Bill O’Connor, Alice and Bob Brower).

The Big Disconnect: Protecting Childhood and Family Relationships in the Digital Age 
Author Dr. Catherine Steiner-Adair will come to CFS to discuss her compelling book. The author comes with incredible insights into the challenges and opportunities technology brings.  Hear her ideas on turning tech into an ally for closeness, creativity, and community.  An encouraged read, regardless if you can join us!  Books are on sale at a greatly reduced price - $15 - in the Center office.
