Come celebrate our winter community events

As we approach the holidays, it's time to mark your calendar for some of our community's most beloved traditions. Please Join Us! These events are open to all folks in the CFS community — alumni, current and alumni parents, staff, and board members.

Holiday Social, Saturday, December 9, 7:30 – 10:30 pm

Shared Visions Retreat Center, 3717 Murphy School Road, Durham

Enjoy a complimentary night out before the holidays! We provide light refreshments and a cash bar. This year's live upbeat band is the Duke Street Dogs, playing original jazz and rock music. You provide the festive joy of connecting with new and longtime friends.

Childcare is available for children ages 3 and up in the CFS gym by the Upper School Ambassadors. As a holiday gift to parents and staff the Ambassadors would like to offer free childcare for this event. They hope all families will enjoy this opportunity to celebrate together. Donations of any amount will be accepted and will go towards hurricane relief via One America Appeal. RSVP for childcare requested: www.cfsnc.org/Social2017

Ultimate Frisbee Games, Friday, December 15, 12:30 - 2:00 pm

CFS Soccer fields

Come and play or cheer on the teams!

Alumni Dance/Theatre Production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Saturday, December 30, 8:00 pm

(Open dress rehearsal at 4:00 pm), Center Performing Arts Space

Join the CFS alumni community for a family-friendly dance and theater adventure into a reimagined world of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Bringing together actors, dancers, musicians and designers, this production retells the story as a parable about the creative process and the power of creativity in the modern age.
