| Curriculum at its best is dynamic and is continually reviewed, a direct reflection of our dynamic student body and ever-evolving experience with them. |

Course offerings in the Upper School change with the student body. The content of the class determines the curriculum focus for a class. Applied Math was offered when a significant number of students needed this option. Hands-on intermediate level biology was offered to reach a number of visual learners. Student input created certain courses: Senior Seminar, Tolkein, and HIV Outreach among others.

The Upper School curriculum includes no standardized tests. We meet students where they are and don’t teach according to the guidelines of any state mandated exam.
