Curriculum at its best encourages active engagement in a process of exploration that develops skills, values, and confidence.
  • Our voluntary student government, Clerks Committee, allows all students to participate in the daily working of the school. Participants plan special events for the Upper School and advise the administration on policy issues.

  • The Staff-Student Discipline Committee is a group of students and staff members who meet to discuss the appropriate response when a student has violated the trust of the community. Staff and student voices have equal weight in this process and the committee is charged with coming to consensus about a response and making a recommendation to the Head Teacher.

  • We provide a number of opportunities for students to take a leadership role in their own learning. Among these are: student written and directed plays, student choreography in the Winter Dance Concert, student taught classes, and a student developed Art Show.

Students and staff discuss issues at a Clerks meeting.
