Multifaceted projects empower a variety of different learning styles. Here students assemble a scale model of the Wright flyer. They researched, wrote, drew, measured and built their pieces separately. They then worked together to assemble the parts to create a whole

   We recognize a variety of modes of learning and frequently offer a significant number of choices when presenting what a student has learned in a particular course of study. By offering many choices students tend to invest on a higher level and feel greater ownership of their work.

   We utilize the environment through gardening projects, walks and studies along our nature trails, and many other outdoor connections. Our program offers many opportunities for the naturalist.
