| Curriculum at its best reflects, even highlights, the diversity of our society and our global community. |
 |
Our students use dishes, bowls, utensils, and dress-up clothes from other countries. The use of glass, wood, baskets, metal, and china enhances the play experiences for our children as they use durable, natural materials. Multicultural dolls often become part of pretend play. |
As we prepared for our school wide celebration of the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, the children undertook a cooperative task of making a peace pizza together. Learning that true peace begins with me. |
The celebration of holidays is part of our curriculum. One of our favorites is Chinese New Year. |
